New Photos from Frankenweenie and Resident Evil: Retribution

MTV released a large batch of photos as part of their fall movie preview, including new images from Frankenweenie and Resident Evil: Retribution.

Frankenweenie: “From creative genius Tim Burton (‘Alice in Wonderland,’ ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’) comes ‘Frankenweenie,’ a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new ‘leash on life’ can be monstrous.”

Frankenweenie will open in theaters on October 5th in 3D and features a voice cast that includes Charlie Tahan, Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Landau.

Resident Evil: Retribution: “The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.”

Resident Evil: Retribution will be released to theaters on September 14th and stars Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Colin Salmon, Sienna Guillory, Boris Kodjoe, Oded Fehr, Shawn Roberts, Bingbing Li, Kevin Durand, and Johann Urb.
