Getting lost in the catacombs beneath Paris would be terrifying in itself, but discovering that the skull-lined walls lead to the gates of hell would really crank up the horror. That’s what a team of ill-fated archaeologists find out in Universal Pictures’ As Above, So Below, a claustrophobic thriller that now has a new release date.
Originally slated to hit theaters on August 15th, it’s now been announced that the release of As Above, So Below has been pushed back two weeks, to August 29th. To gear up for the catacombs, check out the movie’s synopsis, trailer, and poster:

As Above, So Below stars Perdita Weeks (The Invisible Woman), Ben Feldman (2009′s Friday the 13th), and Edwin Hodge (The Purge).
