Aliens: Colonial Marines will be released on February 12th and a brand new trailer has been released, showing a number of items and weapons we'll have at our disposal. This trailer has been referred to as the "Tactical Multiplayer" trailer, but we believe most, if not all, of what is shown is also present in the single player game as well.

Aliens: Colonial Marines follows up on the events of Aliens and sees a new group of Colonial Marines investigating the abandoned Sulaco. While the new trailer focuses on action, be sure to check out the previously released story trailer to see cameos that are sure to excite fans of the series.

“Aliens: Colonial Marines begins with an ostensibly abandoned ship, the U.S.S. Sulaco, recovered in orbit around LV-426. Players lead a group of highly trained United States Colonial Marines as they board the deserted craft to uncover the fate of the crew. They will have to fight to survive unspeakable horrors and their own anxieties as they chase down the truth behind a galaxy-spanning deception that places humanity at the mercy of the most murderous and deadly species in the universe. Aliens: Colonial Marines features authentic environments, such as the surface of LV-426 and Hadley’s Hope, weapons inspired by the film series and is designed to provide an exhilarating and engaging new chapter in the Aliens universe.”

Gearbox Software has developed Aliens: Colonial Marines for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, with an official release date of February 12th. Catch up on our previous coverage of the game by visiting the following links:
