Who better to personify the insanity of holiday shopping than the "Clown Prince of Crime?" DC Entertainment has given us the heads up on a handful of release that would interest Daily Dead readers, including the "Christmas with the Joker" figure from Batman: The Animated Series.

"Ho-ho-horror! The Joker's broken out of Arkham just in time for Christmas, and he's got quite the holiday planned! This action figure depicts the Clown Prince of Crime as he appeared on his very first Batman: The Animated Series episode, "Christmas with the Joker." Along with his jolly red cap and sweater, the Joker comes with his attempt at a festive Christmas tree. You probably shouldn't open any presents he gives you."

The "Christmas with the Joker" action figure retails for $44.95 and you can pick it up for yourself at DC Entertainment. Other releases include the holiday-themed Harley Quinn statue and the following Vertigo/ DC trades: The Twilight Children, Lucifer Vol. 1: Cold Heaven, The Sheriff of Babylon Vol 1. Bang, Bang, Bang, and Dark Night: A True Batman Story.

Take a look at images of these releases below and check back for a chance to win the Vertigo trades as part of our holiday contest offerings.

About the Author - Tamika Jones

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
