Unfriended: "For a group of teenage friends, a devastating fate lurks on the other side of a computer screen in Unfriended, the first in a new generation of found-footage thrillers coming to Digital HD July 28, 2015 and Blu-Ray, DVD and On Demand August 11, 2015, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Unfriended is a startlingly contemporary nail-biter from two modern masters of mayhem, executive producer Jason Blum (The PurgeOuijaSinister) and producer Timur Bekmambetov (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire HunterWanted).

What starts as a seemingly innocent online prank produces a sequence of events that spirals out of control. During a routine group video chat, high-school friends are terrorized by an unseen figure. The anonymous intruder implicates each of them in the death of an acquaintance, revealing damning secrets and transforming trusted allies into wary adversaries. Forced into a sordid “game,” the teens try to figure out who is behind the mysterious threat, but all signs point to a power from beyond the grave. Playing out in real time almost entirely on a computer screen, Unfriended features a rising young cast that includes Shelley Hennig (Ouija, “Teen Wolf”), Moses Storm (“The 4 to 9ers: The Day Crew,” “About a Boy”) and Renee Olstead (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” “Still Standing”)."

June: "RLJ Entertainment will be releasing JUNE on DVD on October 6th. The film stars Casper Van Dien, Kennedy Brice, and Victoria Pratt and directed by L. Gustavo Cooper.

Nine-year-old June (Kennedy Brice, The Walking Dead) has been shuffled in and out of foster homes for years. And though she tries to be good, no matter where she goes, a trail of chaos and terror seems to follow. It’s only when June is sent to live with a new couple, Lily and Dave (Casper Van Dien, Starship Troopers), that it looks as if things might finally work out – except this innocent child with the face of an angel is possessed by an ancient, malevolent entity that has hijacked her soul. Unless June can defeat the demon within, her new family – and mankind itself – are destined for destruction."

A Plague So Pleasant: Press Release: "New York, NY - Wild Eye Releasing has unleashed a new epidemic on the American public. A Plague So Pleasant will infect home entertainment systems beginning August 25th. A more dangerous strain than recent efforts, the film has been hailed by undead aficionados as "a miraculous accomplishment" (Zombie Guide Magazine), "an Excellent, Original Zombie Movie" (ZMDB.com), and "so much better than the average straight to video zombie travesty" (The Rotting Zombie).

In the near future, zombies have become a protected, endangered species, held in captivity and legally wandering the streets free from harm by the living. But for the loved ones of those who die, sometimes coping is just too much to handle, especially when not everyone feels the dead have a right to exist and are willing to break the law to rid the world of this new population of the dead.

The DVD release of A Plague So Pleasant (SRP $19.95) will exclusively include promos and trailers."

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
