Before the TV show of the same name came out in 1989, there was the Tales from the Crypt movie. Released in 1972, this British anthology horror film explored multiple matters of the macabre, from a Christmas Eve killer to a Chinese figurine that grants three wishes, and also featured the legendary Peter Cushing in one of its tales.

A sequel to Tales from the Crypt, titled Vault of Horror, came out in 1973 and Scream Factory has announced plans to release both of these horror anthologies as a double feature Blu-ray later this year.

Appearing on Blu-ray for the first time, the Tales from the Crypt/Vault of Horror double feature is set to be released sometime this fall. Scream Factory also announced that they will release 1985's The Doctor and the Devils, a gothic thriller centered on grave robbers, on Blu-ray for the first time this fall, as well:

1972’s TALES FROM THE CRYPT and 1973’s VAULT OF HORROR These two classic British anthology films will be a housed together as a double feature on blu-ray (both for the first time) and Vault will be presented in its uncut form.

1985’s THE DOCTOR AND THE DEVILS
This underrated grave robber thriller was produced by Mel Brooks and stars Timothy Dalton, Patrick Stewart, Stephen Rea, Jonathan Pryce…and even Twiggy! Also on Blu-ray for the first time.
