Originally slated to come out this August, Scream Factory's Collector's Edition Blu-ray of Wes Craven's The Serpent and the Rainbow is now expected to hit shelves early next year, but you can take a look at Joel Robinson's new cover art right now.

From Scream Factory: "Our Collector's Edition blu-ray release of Wes Craven's classic exercise in voodoo is still on track but it has been delayed to arrive on a yet-to-be-determined date in early 2016. Reason? We are accommodating important talent we have approached for bonus materials. We certainly want to make this the best package ever!

In the meantime though, we're so proud of the approved newly-designed artwork from artist Joel Robinson that we wanted to share with you today instead of waiting several months. We also want to start off our jam-packed "Summer of Fear Part II" month of July (which will have lots of news, announcements...and even a sale starting next week) on an exciting and colorful "Rainbow" note.

Stay tuned this Fall / Winter for updates on the release. We appreciate your patience and understanding."
