My Name is A by anonymous: The film "tells an inspired by true crime story about a 15 year old girl who allegedly murdered her 9 year old neighbor":
"The film was inspired by the murder of 9 year old Elizabeth Olten and her accused killer, 15 year old Alyssa Bustamante. Bustamante is now 17 years old and still awaiting trail (set for January 2012). The filmmakers used media publicity covering the crime as inspiration for its basis. Bustamante's trial has been pushed back multiple times and recently her confession was thrown out due to incompetent police work. The film presents the idea that perhaps Bustamante didn't commit the crime but also gives many reasons why she might have. Taking place during the days leading up to the murder and focusing more on possible motives and the angst of the teenage mind than claiming to know the innocence or guilt of the perpetrator."
