2 New Clips from The Wicker Tree

The Wicker Tree will have a limited theatrical release next week and we have 2 new clips from the movie for you to watch. Directed by Robin Hardy, The Wicker Tree is considered a spiritual sequel or companion piece to The Wicker Man, which Hardy directed in 1973.

Anchor Bay Entertainment recently acquired The Wicker Tree for US distribution and it will have a limited theatrical release on January 27th. We expect a DVD/Blu-ray/VOD release to follow shortly after.

“In THE WICKER TREE, two young missionaries from Texas (Brittania Nicol, Henry Garrett) head to Scotland to educate the Scottish heathens in the way of Christ. They are initially charmed by the locals in the town of Tressock and agree to become the local Queen of the May and Laddie for the annual town festival. But the couple are not prepared for the frightening consequences of their decision and the very disturbing secrets they are about to discover about Tressock’s seemingly friendly townspeople.”

The Wicker Tree Graham McTavish, Brittania Nicol, Henry Garrett, Honeysuckle Weeks, Keira McMillan, and Christopher Lee.
