Groovy news for Ash fans, as Space Goat Play and StudioCanal's Evil Dead 2 board game has chainsawed through its $70,000 Kickstarter goal and skyrocketed past the $150,000 mark since launching the campaign on Wednesday.

With a whopping 32 days to go on the Kickstarter campaign, the Evil Dead 2 board game will become a reality and should make for a frightening and fun addition to family game nights. To celebrate, we have an official message from Space Goat Productions, as well as new concept art images of Ash and his dismembered hand with a malevolent mind of its own.

To learn more about the Evil Dead 2 board game, visit their official Kickstarter page.

From Space Goat Productions: "Wow! Thank you all so much for your support of our first board game. We knew our love of Evil Dead would show through on this campaign. We knew there were hard core Evil Dead fans out there who would love to have the game. But we had no idea that we would fund this campaign in less than eight hours.

From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you, each and every one of you.

We've spent the day working out how to accelerate some of our initial stretch goal plans that were set to unlock at 100k and beyond to make them available to you sooner--as well as review each of your comments so we could address everything.

In short, it's been a hectic and really fun and productive morning. You'll be getting less emails from this list but we wanted to give you some figure images that weren't in the campaign."
