Resident Evil: Retribution is currently filming in Toronto and we have casting news by the way of Milla Jovovich, as well as a report of 16 cast and crew members being injured after a stage collapse.

Milla Jovovich confirmed previous rumors that game character Ada Wong will be in the new film. Li Bingbing (The Forbidden Kingdom) will be playing Wong, who is a member of the Organization. In the video games, The 3rd Organization is a rival of The Umbrella Corporation.

There is also a report on THR that a stage collapse occurred on the set this morning, which resulted in 16 cast and crew members being injured. 10 of those injured were sent to the hospital, but the injuries are said to be "not life threatening". The accident occurred when a wheeled platform collapsed due to "sudden movement". There is no information on which cast and crew members were injured at this time.

Resident Evil: Retribution stars Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Colin Salmon, Sienna Guillory, Boris Kodjoe, Oded Fehr, Shawn Roberts, Kevin Durand, and Johann Urb. The movie is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and is filming in Toronto for the next two months. Resident Evil: Retribution will be released on September 14th, 2012
