I'm sure that many will recognize Mike White as Ned Schneebly from The School of Rock more than anything else, but he has been writing, producing, and acting for more than a decade. We should be able to add major movie director to his list of credits, as Lionsgate has officially offered him the director's chair for the film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

This film has had a number of directors circling the project and the film is looking for high profile actors to fill the roles, with names like Scarlett Johansson and Bradley Cooper being tossed around as possible leads.
