One of the more haunting stories to come from the mind of Stephen King this century is his novella 1922 (included in Full Dark, No Stars), his tale of farm life, familial murder, and ravenous rats. In what has already been a year filled with adaptations of the master of horror's work, Netflix has even more for Stephen King fans to look forward with their October premiere of 1922, and we have the new trailer for you to watch right now... just make sure no sounds are coming from within your walls first.

The tale is told from from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story's unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, with his son in Nebraska. But after he buries her body, he finds himself terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, becomes convinced his wife is haunting him."

Written and directed by Zak Hilditch, and based on Stephen King's novella of the same name, 1922 stars Thomas Jane, Molly Parker, Dylan Schmid, Kaitlyn Bernard, Brian d’Arcy James, and Neal McDonough. The film will premiere on October 20th on Netflix.
