We have an updated trailer for the upcoming Luc Besson-produced sci-fi Lockout, along with news on a slight release date change. While originally scheduled for release on April 20th, you'll actually be able to see it one week earlier on April 13th. We haven't been given a reason for the date shift, but we're curious as to why it was moved to the same weekend as The Cabin in the Woods.

“Starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace and set in the near future, LOCKOUT follows a falsely convicted ex- government agent (Pearce), whose one chance at obtaining freedom lies in the dangerous mission of rescuing the President’s daughter (Grace) from rioting convicts at an outer space maximum security prison.”

Lockout, now scheduled for release on April 13th, is directed by James Mather and Stephen St. Leger. The main cast includes Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace, Peter Stormare, Vincent Regan, Lennie James, Joseph Gilgun, and Anne-Solenne Hatte.
