The hunt is back on—this time in suburbia—in the official trailer for The Predator, the latest installment in the beloved horror sci-fi franchise.

Directed by Shane Black (who co-starred as the wisecracking Rick Hawkins in 1987's Predator) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad), The Predator will feature a suburban showdown between military veterans and a deadly, familiar threat from the stars:

"From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black's explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race."

20th Century Fox will unleash The Predator in theaters on September 14th. The film's cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Yvonne Strahovski. Watch the new trailer below and let us know what you think!
