Deadheads is Now Available

Indie zombie comedy Deadheads begins to roll out this week on DVD and will also be available on a number of digital platforms including the iTunes Store, Vudu, PSN, and cable VOD. We have additional information on the release, including a trailer, synopsis, and cover art:

"DEADHEADS is the story of two slackers, Mike and Brent, who find themselves reborn as part of a marauding zombie horde. Only, unlike their fellow flesh-eaters, Mike and Brent have a taste for beer, not humans! Unsure what caused him to die in the first place, Mike discovers an engagement ring in his pocket and realizes that his untimely death prevented him from proposing to the love of his life. Determined to remember what happened, and reunited with his love, Mike and Brent begin a cross-country trip. Little do they know they will soon be pursued by a vicious band of vigilante zombie-killing bounty hunters!"

Deadheads will be released through Freestyle Digital Media's distribution partners that include the iTunes Store, Amazon, Vudu, DirecTV, Dish Networks, Blockbuster.com, Best Buy CinemaNow, Sony PSN, YouTube, and most cable VOD services. It'll also be available for DVD rental at Blockbuster and Family Video.

The DVD comes along with a number of bonus features, which include: About Deadheads featurette, The Making of Deadheads featurette, Trailer, Director's commentary.
