After bringing blood-soaked story arcs and cult-centric carnage to life onscreen in The Sacrifice Game, director Jenn Wexler brings her keen eye for immersive, high-stakes storytelling to The Last Temptation of Becky, the latest film in the must-see franchise starring Lulu Wilson as the title character you definitely don't want to cross, especially if you're a neo-Nazi who messes with her family and friends.
Featuring Becky working as a CIA agent with a knack for improvisation (and bludgeoning someone with a suitcase when the situation calls for it), The Last Temptation of Becky takes the franchise's innovative survivor to Poland to face off against a ruthless neo-Nazi played by Neil Patrick Harris, who has malicious plans to usher in the age of the Fourth Reich.
With The Last Temptation of Becky making its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal this Saturday, July 25th, Daily Dead had the great pleasure of talking with Jenn and Lulu about collaborating on the third chapter of the ambitious Becky franchise.
You can watch the first part of our interview below, and keep an eye out for the rest of our chat with Jenn and Lulu when The Last Temptation of Becky is released in theaters!
The world premiere screening of The Last Temptation of Becky will take place on Saturday, July 25th at 9:30pm at the Auditorium de diplômés de la SGWU:
Now working as a field agent for the CIA, Becky (Lulu Wilson) is sent undercover to Poland to infiltrate a family of innkeepers who are running a tourist venture at The Wolf’s Lair, Hitler’s WWII bunker. After learning that the father, Wilhelm Reuss (Neil Patrick Harris), is on a mission to bring about the Fourth Reich, Becky takes matters into her own hands.
