Late last year, you might remember a very brief news spot about a [REC] video game in development. The game has now been released and we have all the details, along with a gameplay trailer.

"[REC] The videogame is the official game of the popular and acclaimed [REC] horror movies created by Filmax. In this FPS (First Person Shooter) you become the reporter Angela Vidal ([REC]) and a G.E.O.S. soldier ([REC]2) to join the building where strange incidents have been reported to be happening. Hopefully you will be able to discover the mistery around the Medeiros Girl. Complete the 27 missions, clear all the zombies before they infect you, and keep filming..."

The game has been designed for iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod) and Android devices. It has also been announced that a PC and MAC version will be available in the near future. At this time we can only verify that the game is available for download on Android devices. Availability for iOS devices may be based on location and pending Apple approval.

We've included the official trailer below and you can learn more at: http://www.rec-thegame.com/
