Vin Diesel loves to keep his Facebook fans up-to-date. He recently took to his Facebook page to talk about the Riddick release date and mentions the possibility of additional sequels:
"The studio said the earliest [Universal] could release the new 'Riddick' is in January... was hoping for 2012... but, it's on the horizon.
P.s. I think they are liking what they are seeing... haha, cause they asked when both Underverse and Furya would be ready to make and release... haha... now that's a ways in the future but it is exciting."
In case you missed out on the previous news, Riddick is an R-rated sequel directed once again by David Twohy. Vin Diesel stars with Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk, and Keri Hilson.
