We have some good news for Halloween fans. According to the official Halloween website, Halloween 4 and 5 are making their way to Blu-ray. While there is no release date set at this time, they revealed that each film will be a new HD transfer, with new special features and commentaries not seen in previous releases.

If you're wondering why we're seeing the Halloween Blu-ray releases split up, that's because different companies hold the rights to different films. For example, Halloween 2 is owned by Universal, who released their Blu-ray edition of the film last October. Universal also owns Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, and Shock Till You Drop reports that a special edition Blu-ray of that film is on the way as well. We'll be sure to report back on all 3 films when more details are released
