As part of Comic-Con's Hellboy movie panel, attendees got the first look at the new trailer, but we now have it for you to watch! Based on the excellent comic book mini-series of the same name, the film is written by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, along with Christopher Golden, and was directed by Brian Taylor.

"In the 1950s, Rookie BPRD agent Bobbie Jo Song is tasked with delivering a spider to the BPRD, but must seek Hellboy's help when things go awry. Together, they travel to Appalachia to take on the Crooked Man, who has been sent back to Earth to collect souls for the devil."

During the panel, Mike Mignola talked about how excited he was for fans to see the film, noting that The Crooked Man is his personal favorite Hellboy story. Hellboy: The Crooked Man stars Jack Kesy as Hellboy, with Jefferson White, Adeline Rudolph, Joseph Marcell, Leah McNamara, and Martin Bassindale. While there is not an official release date yet, we're told to expect Hellboy: The Crooked Man to be released this fall.
