Watch the Short Film BARRY GETTIN' MARRIED: "Barry, a charismatic YouTube influencer, sets out to create his most viral video yet by planning an elaborate surprise for his girlfriend, Callie. With his best friend Alonso in tow, they journey to a secluded western destination, where Barry hopes the grand reveal will not only win Callie’s heart but also skyrocket his channel to new heights. However, in the pursuit of online fame, the trio soon discovers that not everything goes as planned in the wild west.

Project backstory : Barry Gettin' Married was born out of the 48 Hour Film Project, a whirlwind competition where we had just 48 hours to create a movie from scratch. With no idea what kind of film we’d be making, we received our prompts the night before production began. Armed with a dedicated crew and a few talented actors, we didn’t land on the concept for Barry Gettin’ Married until that evening. The two genres we were tasked with blending were mockumentary & influencer. Along with that, we had to incorporate three specific elements: 1) the use of a mirror, 2) a character named Colton, who happens to be a chef, and 3) the line, “Look what I did.”

In spite of the time crunch, we filmed the entire project the next day. After the competition, we continued refining the film, completing the full 10-minute version now available to watch. This project exemplifies what’s possible when passionate creatives unite, trust the process, and dive into the unknown—even when the story doesn’t come together until the night before. With the right team, anything is possible. Thanks, and enjoy our horror comedy Barry Gettin' Married."
