You may know how you'll survive a zombie attack, but what would you do if garden gnomes strike? Author Chuck Sambuchino has already worked on preparing you with the book How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack: Defend Yourself When the Lawn Warriors Strike (And They Will).

Described as "...a tongue-in-cheek survival guide to help garden gnome-owners prepare for and ward off an imminent invasion from the menacing lawn statues", Sony Pictures Animation has optioned book with plans to turn it into a movie geared towards adults.

The film will be a "live-action/CG-hybrid budgeted in the $20 million-$30 million range"Variety reports that Robert Zemeckis will be producing the film, but it has not yet been decided if he will direct.
