2011 will continue to see an increase in found footage movies, with multiple releases, including Dimension Films' Apollo 18. Based on the idea that the cancelled Apollo 18 mission took place and was covered up, Apollo 18 will presumably show the crew's encounter with extraterrestrial life. Apollo 18 is directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego and produced by Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch, Day Watch, Wanted) with a scheduled release of March 4th, 2011.
