Godzilla is expected to have a huge presence at Comic-Con this week and a new poster has been created specifically for the event. Godzilla will be shown off as part of Legendary Pictures' panel at Comic-Con on Saturday:
"An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are the executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira."
The panel will take place at Comic-Con's large Hall H room, but seating is very limited. If you want a good chance of getting into Hall H, you should be in line well before 7:00am. The Legendary/Warner Bros. presentation that includes Godzilla takes place from 10:45am – 1:15pm.
Godzilla will be released to US theaters on May 16th, 2014 and is expected to be presented in 3D. While Warner Bros. will be handling most of the worldwide rollout, Toho will be taking over for the Japanese release. The new Godzilla poster is thanks to IGN!
