Indie Round-Up

Every week, we receive a number of news items related to independent horror releases. While we don't have the time to dedicate a feature or news post to every one, we decided that we're going to try to do a regular round-up.

If you have a independent novel, comic, or movie that you'd like to see covered, make sure to shoot us over an email.

The Gatekeeper Needs Help: Ron Perlman, Matt Bush, and Scout Taylor-Compton have attached themselves to the indie feature The Gatekeeper, but they are in need of some funding help. If you'd like to learn more about this project, check out their Kickstarter page: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/isaacmeisenheimer/the-gatekeeper-a-feel-good-zombie-movie

Watch "Damn Your Eyes": If you're a fan of horror and westerns, you may be interested in the Damn Your Eyes short film. Director David Guglielmo has plans to turn this into a full feature, so check it out and let him know what you think: http://damnyoureyes-movie.com

Good Cop, Dead Cop Released: The novel Good Cop, Dead Cop is available at Amazon and other retailers as of now. The story revolves around the idea that the world has discovered the afterlife exists and can access it via an AfterNet terminal. You can find out more about this book at: http://theafternet.net/

15 Till Midnight Trailer: A trailer has been released for the full-length indie sci-fi 15 Till Midnight. They are currently looking for a distributor, but you can get an idea of what to expect right here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT8Y6N9vN3o

La Fin Absolute du Monde E.P. Coming Soon: If the band's name sounds familiar to you, then you've probably seen the John Carpenter episode of Masters of Horror titled Cigarette Burns. They have an E.P. coming out in July and you can hear some of their music at: http://soundcloud.com/la-fin-absolute-du-monde
