We're a little more than a month away from the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special and the BBC has given us a new look at the upcoming episode, including a photo of Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt sharing time on the TARDIS.

The Day of the Doctor will premiere on Saturday, November 23  and is expected to air simultaneously in over 200 countries. Make sure to check your local listings for the specific air date/time in your country. Unlike a traditional episode, this special is more like a Doctor Who movie and will be 75 minutes in length.

The special filmed earlier this year at BBC Cymru Wales’ Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff and across South Wales. Filming also took place in the Tower of London and Trafalgar Square for a scene which saw Matt Smith dangling from the TARDIS (seen below).

The Day of the Doctor stars Matt Smith, David Tennant, Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper and John Hurt, but don't be surprised if there are a few unannounced cameos as well. We expect more photos and footage from the special early next month.
