Following the release of The Lords of Salem and American Horror Story: Coven, witches are popular once again and a number of witch-themed TV shows and movies are at various stages of development. This spring, WGN America will be releasing an original TV series set in 17th century Massachusetts, titled Salem. Here's a look at a brand new teaser video that shows us the dunking chair:

"Set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts, SALEM explores what really fueled the town's infamous witch trials and dares to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. In SALEM, witches are real, but they are not who or what they seem. The show, which centers on an epic romance wrapped around this explosive revelation, delivers a bold new vision of Salem -- and an even bolder new vision of witches."

According to Deadline, the story follows "Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery), the beautiful, ruthless but vulnerable wife of an ancient, ailing but very wealthy Salem town Selectman. Brannon Braga created the Fox 21 series, whose cast also includes Seth Gabel (who narrates the trailer), Shane West, Ashley Madekwe, Xander Berkeley, Tamzin Merchant and Elise Eberle."
