It was nearly 40 years ago when Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Leatherface ripped into cinemas. Having recently sponsored a special screening of the original 35mm print of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Fright Rags is continuing their 40th anniversary celebration of Hooper's game-changing film with their upcoming release of five limited edition Leatherface shirts.
"As a part of the film's 40th Anniversary celebration, we commissioned five different artists to lend their talents to the iconic LEATHERFACE. Each shirt offers a unique vision of the flesh-masked killer, and each are limited to only 500."
This latest limited edition Fright Rags line features designs from artists Godmachine, Jason Edmiston, Justin Osbourn, Abrar Ajmal, and Jeff Zornow. Each artist created their own unique depiction of Leatherface, but all designs are printed in full color on Fright Rags' 4.5 oz 100% cotton material. Sizes range from Small - 5x-Large for all T-Shirts and Small - 2x-Large for all Girl Shirts. Each shirt is listed at $27.00 and each version is limited to only 500 shirts.
Pre-order for the shirts begins on Friday May, 9th at 10:00AM EST and runs through 10:00 AM EST on Friday, May 16th, with shipping set for late June.
