After premiering earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival, Image Entertainment acquired WolfCop for US distribution and it has been revealed that they plan to release the movie in early 2015. Blu-ray.com reports that WolfCop will be released to home video on January 20th, 2015. While formats were not mentioned, we're expecting a Blu-ray / DVD / VOD release and will update this story with additional details as we get closer to January.

“It’s not unusual for alcoholic cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn.

Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. Lou’s senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he’s a rage-fueled werewolf. WOLFCOP is one cop’s quest to become a better man…

One transformation at a time.”

Written and directed by Lowell Dean, WolfCop stars Leo Fafard, Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry, Sarah Lind, Aidan Devine, Jesse Moss, and Corinne Conley. It also features practical effects from monster-maker Emersen Ziffle.
