The Lords of Salem will begin its limited theatrical release in the US next week, and we've already given you a look at five clips from the movie. If you can't hold out and need to see more, a brand new clip has been released. We do suggest that most people avoid watching the clip, however, as it is one of the more important scenes from the movie.

We've had many readers asking us about specific release details, but they are not yet available. Anchor Bay Films has mentioned that the movie will play in theaters on April 19th in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, Houston, and Washington DC. If you live in one of those cities, make sure to check your local theater listings for midnight screenings next week. We're trying to get more specific information on the theaters that will be screening the movie.

If you live in the UK, The Lords of Salem is getting a limited theatrical release on April 26th, with a DVD release on April 29th. There is no word yet on the Blu-ray/DVD release in the US, but hopefully we'll have news later this month.

“Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the ‘Big H Radio Team’.

A myserious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, ’a gift from the Lords’. She assumes it’s a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.

Later, Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners. The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for BLOOD.”

The Lords of Salem stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Patricia Quinn, Sid Haig, Michael Berryman, Judy Geeson, Bruce Davison, Ken Foree, Dee Wallace, Meg Foster, Maria Conchita Alonso, and Jeff Daniel Phillips. The clip below is from Rolling Stone (via BD).
