It isn't often that a horror movie is nominated for a major Academy Award category, let alone multiple categories. Black Swan has been nominated for Best Actress (Natalie Portman), Best Picture, Best Director (Darren Aronofsky), Best Cinematography (Matthew Libatique) and Best Editing (Andrew Weisblum).

While not unexpected, it is nice to see this movie get recognized as it was one of our favorites this year. Make sure to read our full review of Black Swan.
