We've had quite a bit of Scream Factory news over the past couple of weeks and updates continue to roll in. The Incredible Melting Man is one of the titles getting a Blu-ray upgrade from Scream Factory and they have revealed the official cover art.

The 1977 cult classic was directed and written by William Sachs, and stars Alex Rebar as an astronaut who returns from a mission to Saturn and begins to slowly melt away: "A horror movie made in the classic style of the 1950s 'B' movies. Steve West (Alex Rebar) is the sole survivor of a space mission to Saturn. When he mysteriously develops a taste for human flesh, it soon transpires that his deadly eating habits are pain relief; as his own flesh is literally melting away..."

At this time, a firm release date has not been announced, but it is expected to be available this summer. We should have official release details and the list of bonus features within the next couple of months. Want to learn more about upcoming classic horror titles from Scream Factory?
