Sinister director Scott Derrickson is getting ready to begin production on Beware the Night, and the main cast list has been revealed. Deadline has learned that Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez and Olivia Munn will all star in the movie, with filming expected to begin on May 20th in New York.

The script was written by Scott Derrickson and Paul Boardman, who previously worked together on The Exorcism Of Emily Rose, and tells the story of a cop that teams up with a local priest to battle demons:

"Bana plays an Irish Catholic cop working a case when he meets a renegade priest. Despite the cop’s beliefs, he’s convinced by the priest that there is a demonic element and together they work to solve the case and combat the paranormal forces working against them. Ramirez plays the priest. Munn plays the cop’s wife, who also has a tie to the case."

This movie is a Screen Gems production and it's said that the hope is that this will be the first of multiple films. A release date has not yet been set.
