It was first announced that Zoe Saldana would star in a new Rosemary's Baby miniseries for NBC and now we have the names of two actors that will be joining her. According to Deadline, Patrick J. Adams (Suits) will play Rosemary's husband, while Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter series, Event Horizon) will take on the role of coven leader Roman Castevet.
The miniseries is set at four hours and will soon begin production in Paris, where the story is now set:
"Saldana will play Rosemary, the iconic young wife and would-be mother who, with her husband, moves into a Paris apartment that has a darkly storied past. After finally getting pregnant, she becomes increasingly suspicious that both her husband and their mysterious neighbors have ulterior motives about the future of her child."
Agnieszka Holland will direct from a screenplay written by Scott Abbott and James Wong. We'll update this story when more casting news becomes available.
