We've been covering The Walking Dead minimates series that was recently released and would love to see the brand expand to cover more horror properties. If you want an idea of something that Diamond Select Toys could release, take a look at this custom Friday the 13th minimates set.

As noted by Friday the 13th Franchise, these figures were actually created three years ago for a custom minimates competition. We're surprised that more sites didn't pick these up back then, as we think they would be a big hit with fans of the series. Is this something you'd be interested in? Here's some information on what went into creating the figures:

  • Jason part 1: Repainted minimate with resculpted Spider-Man head cap.
  • Pamela Voorhees: Repainted minimate with resculpted Tony Stark hairpiece and Jigsaw shirt piece. All weapons (minus knife)were modified Hobby Gear tools that were moulded and recast.
  • Jason Part 2: Repainted minimate with sculpted sack head cap and resculpted Human Torch shoulder flame accessory. Sackless head is a resculpted Spider-man head cap. All weapons were modified Hobby Gear tools that were moulded and recast.
  • Jason part 3: Repainted minimate body with resculpted Spider-Man head cap and Jigsaw shirt piece. Hockey mask was custom made from a modified Buffalo Bill night vision goggles It was moulded and cast into one solid piece. All weapons were modified Hobby Gear / G.I Joe tools that were moulded and recast.
