According to Deadline, The Crazies remake director Breck Eisner may be directing The Last Witch Hunter for Summit Entertainment. The script was written by Cory Goodman who scripted Priest and Apollo 18, and focuses on "one of the last remaining witch hunters, a breed that keeps the population of witches and warlocks in check. They are about to repopulate in a major way unless he can stop them."
Breck Eisner has been circling a variety of projects since The Crazies including a remake of Escape from New York, but there hasn't been any news on that project for a while now. He's still in talks for The Last Witch Hunter, but we'll be sure to post as soon as it is finalized.
