We’ve teased that we’ll be taking Daily Dead in new and exciting directions in 2017. Today, I’m happy to announce the upcoming launch of our CORPSE CLUB podcast and community features.

Last year, Daily Dead readers took part in a survey and the number-one request was for an official podcast. We currently have fantastic podcast partners and are happy to share The Walking Dead ’Cast and King Falls AM with our readers on a regular basis. Starting this May, CORPSE CLUB will be joining the mix, providing listeners with regular horror commentary from the Daily Dead team.

CORPSE CLUB Episode 1 is titled “Welcome to the Corpse Club” and features co-hosts Heather Wixson, Patrick Bromley, Scott Drebit, Derek Anderson, and myself. The first episode will serve as an introduction to the podcast and its co-hosts, with reflections on our favorite horror movies and discussions on why we live and breathe horror.

Future episodes will see a shakeup of the host lineup and format, featuring additional members of the Daily Dead team, as well as special guests from all corners of the horror entertainment community.

Speaking of community, May will also see the beta test launch of our brand new community system. Readers will be able to sign up for a free Daily Dead ID that will provide instant access to our Deadly Magazine backlog, along with the ability to rate, review, and organize over 10,000 horror movies in our new database, and take part in additional members-only features.

Our goal from the start has been to celebrate horror and the people responsible for the genre we love. CORPSE CLUB and our community features are the next evolution of Daily Dead, and we’re excited for you to take the ride with us.

Keep an eye out for more announcements in the coming weeks regarding upcoming episodes of CORPSE CLUB and our community beta test.
