We have some good news for fans of Chucky. Following yesterday's Curse of Chucky trailer release, Universal announced that all six movies, including the upcoming Curse of Chucky, will be sold together on October 8th in Chucky: The Complete Collection.
"Set a play date with Chucky as all six movies come together for the first time in the chilling Chucky: The Complete Collection. The killer doll torments his original victim, young Andy Barclay, in Child's Play, Child's Play 2 and Child's Play 3. Then the ruthless redhead teams up with his dream doll, Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), in Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky. Chucky is back again in Curse of Chucky to terrorize a family with whom he shares a mysterious connection. Oozing with hours of bonus materials, Chucky: The Complete Collection is a thrilling, chilling, campy, must-own set. Wanna play?"
Unfortunately, Child's Play 2 and 3 do not contain any bonus features, but some of these movies are making their first appearance on Blu-ray and we know that is enough to get many of you excited. Universal is selling separate Blu-ray and DVD collections, with the Blu-ray version set at $84.98 and the the DVD version retailing for $59.98. It seems like the actual price will be significantly lower, however, as Amazon is currently taking pre-orders of the Blu-ray version for $59.49 and the DVD version is $41.99.
