Hicks is one of the Colonial Marines’ squad leaders who are sent to investigate the loss of communication with a colony on LV-426. He’s armed with a standard issue pulse rifle as well as a shotgun for ‘close encounters’. Hicks is one of the few marines to make it out of the alien hive.
