CinemaCon is taking place right now in Las Vegas and many of the big movie releases of the year are being shown off by the studios attending the event. At the show are teaser posters with the logo treatments for Insidious Chapter 2 and Oldboy, along with the first character poster for R.I.P.D.

R.I.P.D. - Although no official footage from R.I.P.D. has been seen yet, the first trailer is expected to be released this week and we'll have it for you to watch as soon as it becomes available. R.I.P.D. stars Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak, and Marisa Miller. The movie was directed by Peter Schwentke (Red) and tells the story of "a murdered cop that is recruited to work in the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world”. The movie will be released to theaters on July 19th.

Insidious Chapter 2 - In case you need to catch up on Insidious Chapter 2 news, James Wan returned to direct the sequel with, many of the original cast members are back as well, including Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey, and Ty Simpkins. New cast members include Jocelin Donahue and Lindsay Seim. The movie wrapped up principle photography and will be released on Friday, September 13th.

Oldboy - The remake of Oldboy was directed by Spike Lee, stars Josh Brolin, and will be released to theaters on October 11th: "OLDBOY tells the story of a man who is kidnapped and imprisoned on his daughter’s birthday. For fifteen years, he is held captive, and, upon his release, must begin his journey to find the reason for his imprisonment. He soon finds out that his kidnapper has plans for him more tortuous than his solitary confinement."
