Negan and his beloved barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat, Lucille, are coming to life off the paneled page, as McFarlane Toys recently unveiled their in-the-works statue of the feared antagonist from Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series.

Our friends at TheWalkingDead.com debuted new photos of the Negan statue, which was on display in unpainted form at McFarlane Toys' San Diego Comic-Con booth earlier this month. Last year, McFarlane Toys released an impressively detailed Rick Grimes statue. It's not yet known when the Negan statue will be released, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on further announcements.

Todd McFarlane also posted the Negan photos on his Facebook page, along with some comments on the new statue:

"CLOSE-UP look at NEGAN from The Walking Dead from Skybound!

I've seen a lot of comments on Facebook about how COOL the new The Walking Dead Comic statue is, so I thought I'd show you a closer look!!! A lot of people were also really excited about it in our booth at San Diego Comic-Con International last week....

I can't blame them because the DETAIL is crazy! Here's a close up look at the UNPAINTED Negan resin statue. Sometimes I think the unpainted versions look just as cool as the finished product because you can really see all the little details that can be covered by paint (and you know how much I love detail)

One of the COOLEST parts about this statue (I think) is the barbed wire on the bat. Man that would HURT!!!"
