Some familiar faces will be popping up in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters. In addition to previous reports that Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd will appear in the new Ghostbusters movie, it's now been revealed that Ernie Hudson will also have a cameo in the reboot.

The news of Hudson's Ghostbusters cameo comes from The Hollywood Reporter. It's not yet known if Hudson will reprise his role as Winston Zeddemore from the original Ghostbusters films or if he'll play a new character altogether. Yesterday, filming wrapped on the set of the Ghostbusters reboot, and Paul Feig had the following to say about Hudson's involvement with the movie:

Based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Katie Dippold (The Heat), Feig's Ghostbusters features a paranormal investigative team comprised of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, with Chris Hemsworth also along for the ride as Kevin the receptionist. The new Ghostbusters movie is slated to hit theaters on July 15th, 2016. Are you excited to see Ernie Hudson in the reboot?
