Screen Gems has released a teaser trailer for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and we have it for you to watch. Although the movie is not due out until August 23, 2013, we actually get to see quite a bit of footage in this first trailer.

Based on the worldwide best-selling book series."
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones was directed by Harald Zwart and stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jared Harris, and Lena Headey.
