"If you are still haunted by the memory of Jason, you are not alone." Listeners of Daily Dead's Corpse Club podcast have heard us talk about Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning many times, so we're delighted to share the news that Gun Media and IllFonic are unlocking a new Part V map for Friday the 13th: The Game, along with a playable version of Jason (aka the character who dressed as Jason) from the fifth entry in the franchise.

The new map and playable Jason will be unleashed for free on January 30th for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can get a tease of what's to come in the new trailer below. Will you be revisiting the Pinehurst Youth Development Center?

From Friday the 13th: The Game: "We are happy to announce, at no additional charge, a NEW Jason and map coming to Friday the 13th: The Game. Are you ready to revisit the Pinehurst Youth Development Center?

Along with the new map is of course Roy -ahem- Jason Voorhees as he was seen in A New Beginning. This version of the king of slashers comes equipped with a deadly set of gardening shears and three new weapon kills to trim down any counselors that cross his path.

Coming January 30th at no additional cost on Xbox One, PS4, and PC!
