Hard to believe, but it is nearly Hallmark Keepsake Ornament season, which is something that this writer has looked forward to for more than two decades now. There’s no better way to celebrate your own geekdom than by getting to show off all the shows, movies, and characters that you love through ornaments on your tree every year.
Hallmark recently unveiled their entire 2019 Keepsake Ornament Collection online, and while the horror offerings are extremely light this year (basically Negan and Lucille from The Walking Dead are representing the genre solo), there are tons of ornament options for all you sci-fi aficionados out there, particularly those who are into Star Wars, Star Trek, and even Blade Runner, too.
For those of you who love the OG Ghostbusters, Hallmark has two different ornaments you’ll definitely want to collect this year, plus they also have a pair of adorable Scooby-Doo ornaments coming out in the near future as well an awesome Jurassic Park ornament re-enacting the film’s most iconic moments, a fun Halloween-themed Peanuts ornament, and several ornaments celebrating Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
And for you comics fans out there, Hallmark also has plenty of DC and Marvel-themed ornaments coming out in 2019, too (including a tribute to “America’s Ass,” Captain America).
