CONTINENT Trailer: "After world premiering at Munich Film Festival in the Cine Rebels Competition in last June and being screened at Motelx, “Continent” drops official trailer before it’s premiere in Sitges Main Competition and Rio de Janeiro IFF - New Trends Competition. The film will be released by Vitrine Filmes in Brazilian theaters on 31st October. 

“Continent” is the third feature film by Davi Pretto, writer and director of “Castanha” and “Rifle”, both presented in the Forum section at the Berlin Film Festival in 2014 and 2017. The film is produced by Vulcana Cinema (Brazil) in coproduction with Dublin Films (France), Murillo Cine and Pasto (Argentina), with the support Berlinale World Cinema Fund and San Sebastián Film Festival WIP Latam Section. The main cast include Brazilian actresses Olivia Torres and Ana Flavia Cavalcanti and French actor Corentin Fila.

Pretto is currently working on the the post-production of his fourth feature, the lo-fi sci-fi “Future Future”, expected to premiere in early 2025."

SYNOPSIS

"After 15 years of living abroad, Amanda returns home with her French boyfriend, Martin. They arrive at her family’s large-scale farm, located in a secluded village on the endless plains of southern Brazil.
