Revenge of the pumpkins, indeed! Picking up where the story left off in the very first issue, Blood & Gourd #2: Escape from Henderson Farms will be released next Wednesday, September 7th. Also in today's Horror Highlights: a new clip from Chiller Films' Siren and a new trailer and official poster for Somnus.

Blood & Gourd Issue #2: Escape from Henderson Farms, rolls us right back into the pumpkin pandemonium introduced in the 2015 premier issue. The sinister Mr. Pleasant has unleashed a massive otherworldly demon, and with it, murderous hordes of gourds and goblins. A handful of survivors may have endured the first rampaging wave of gruesome ghoulies and Cucurbita craziness, but will they find a way off the farm alive?

Watch a New Clip from Siren: "SIREN is a horror-thriller about Jonah, an apprehensive groom-to-be whose bachelor party turns into a nightmare when he frees a seemingly innocent victimized girl locked up in a supernatural sex club. Her ruthless handler and proprietor of the sex club will stop at nothing to recapture his prize. Jonah struggles to rescue the girl only to discover it is he who needs to be rescued as he comes to the realization that she is a dangerous fabled predator who has chosen him as her prize."

Written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski and based on a short film by David Bruckner, Siren stars Chase Williamson, Justin Welborn, Michael Aaron Milligan, Hayes Mercure, Randy McDowell, and Hannah Fierman.

Chiller Films will release Siren in theaters on December 2nd, 2016 and on VOD, Digital HD, and DVD on December 6th.

Forgoing CGI whenever possible, Reading brings the film to life with practical effects and models, with the interiors of the film’s spaceship setting shot in a decommissioned military aircraft at the East Midland Aeropark in Derby, England.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
