Encyclopocalypse Publications and Shout Factory Partner for Chopping Mall Novelization: "In a thrilling development for horror fans and bibliophiles alike, Encyclopocalypse Publications has joined forces with Shout Factory to novelize the cult classic 1986 film CHOPPING MALL. Produced by the legendary Roger Corman, CHOPPING MALL has been a mainstay of the horror genre.
Since acquiring the rights to Roger Corman's library in 2018, Shout Factory has been exploring innovative ways to bring these classic films to a broader audience. This partnership with Encyclopocalypse Publications marks a new chapter in that journey.
The novelization of CHOPPING MALL will be penned by author Brian G. Berry, who has penned several novelizations for Encyclopocalypse, and have garnered praise for their faithful yet fresh retellings of fan-favorite films. “As a kid, I watched tons of horror movies. But none of them ever gave me that 'creeped out' feeling I was seeking until I saw the cover of the Chopping Mall VHS cassette sitting on the shelf of my local video store.” Says Brian G. Berry (author of novelizations such as The Barn, Commando Ninja, and Amityville Death Toilet). “From that point on, Chopping Mall had a special place in my heart. Fast forward thirty years, and here I am, honored to be writing the novelization for the first horror movie that ever creeped me out based on the cover alone.”
Mark Alan Miller, President and Founder of Encyclopocalypse Publications, previously worked with Shout Factory on the director's cut of Clive Barker's NIGHTBREED, which was met with critical acclaim and commercial success. Miller is thrilled to rekindle this partnership.

Based on the screenplay by James Wynorski and Steve Mitchell, CHOPPING MALL: THE NOVELIZATION promises to deliver all the laughs and thrills that have made CHOPPING MALL a beloved fixture in horror cinema, reimagined as a collectible paperback book.
The audiobook will be voiced by Joe Hempel, a veteran of Horror audiobook narration. Joe lent his voice to the fan favorite audiobook of ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES by Jeff Strand and will bring his incredible talents to create an unforgettable audiobook experience.

NEON acquired Michael Mohan’s Immaculate, produced by and starring double Emmy Award®-nominee Sydney Sweeney (“The White Lotus”, “Euphoria,” “Anyone but You”) ahead of its SXSW World Premiere, marking a reunion between Sweeney and Mohan, who helmed 2021’s The Voyeurs with the actress. The film, which features a script by Andrew Lobel, also stars Simona Tabasco (“The White Lotus”), Alvaro Morte (“Money Heist”), Benedetta Porcaroli (“Baby”), and Dora Romano (The Hand of God). Sweeney produced with Jonathan Davino for Fifty-Fifty Films, alongside Middle Child Pictures’ David Bernad, who developed the project with Sweeney following their collaboration on the Emmy-winning “The White Lotus”.
