DISINTER Comic Book Series: "Issue 1 was funded in January 2024 and shipped to customers in February. Copies are still available. Issue 2 fully funded in July and copies should arrive end of August. Issue 3 of 6 is in development for a winter release (Nov-February) but no specific release date yet.

I created and wrote Disinter while living in Sapporo, Japan in 2007 as a creative project with no real plans to publish. During the pandemic a revised my story into a comic script, while toying with the idea of a Kickstarter, I followed a few online groups until I found my artist's work. Rafael Chrestani is from Brazil and he recommended my Brazilian colorist. This book would not be possible without them. The story combines different mythologies to create the villain with a setting in modern day Sapporo, Japan and neighboring areas.

In Kickstarter fashion, there are lots of variants. Attached is 1A by Rafael Chrestani and Bea Navarro (the interior art team); 1G by legendary comic artist Mike Grell; 2A by Chrestani and Navarro; and 2B by Bea Navarro (interior colorist showcasing her art). I have some amazing additional cover art variants from American artist Lance Footer, American artist Lauren Wright, and Brazilian artist Geraldo Neto."

BLACK EYED SUSAN Trailer: "Legendary underground filmmaker Scooter McCrae (SHATTER DEAD, SIXTEEN TONGUES) returns after a 21-year absence from feature filmmaking with the bold, vulgar, and deeply thought-provoking BLACK EYED SUSAN. Simultaneously brutally challenging and deeply vulnerable, the latest from the New York-based provocateur appropriates bleeding-edge science fiction concepts to address the seemingly-endless lengths that men will go to satisfy their darkest impulses without questioning the consequences of their actions.

In the film, down-on-his-luck Derek (Damien Maffei, THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT) is hired by a shady tech industrialist to "test" Susan (Yvonne Emilie Thälker, in a striking feature debut), a lifelike robot built for the purpose of receiving and "enjoying" sexual abuse. Initially hesitant to take part, Derek accepts, but quickly finds himself drawn to Susan's developing personality and inquisitive nature. As the robot's expanding humanity chips away at him and he learns more about his own secret desires, he questions if what he's been tasked to do - even to a robot - should ever be condoned."
